PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Yes! Reefer’s Bay is the industry leader in testing standards, and all results are publicly available on our product testing page. We consistently offer the highest purities across the cannabis industry when it comes to minor cannabinoids.

Yes! 

Every product we offer is federally legal thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill. This bill makes all hemp derivatives and cannabinoids legal. However, the product cannot contain more than 0.3% Delta 9 THC, which is the main psychoactive ingredient found in cannabis plants. Reefer’s Bay’s products are all hemp-derived and contain less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC.  

Hemp-derived cannabinoids are regulated differently by state, and may differ from what is federally legal. Thus, it’s crucial that you do your own legal due diligence to ensure you’re operating within the legal confines of your area.

If you don’t prime your vape, it can result in burnt coils which can produce that burnt taste. To test if your vape is primed, take a 1-2 second “preheat” hit. If you get vapor, the coil is primed. If not, your vape coil needs priming. 

The best way to prime your vape is by standing it upright so the oil falls to the bottom, getting soaked up in the coil. If a vape was laying horizontally for an extended period of time, priming with vertical storage can take over 24 hours. 

To accelerate the process, carefully heat the vape with a hair dryer or wrap in a watertight bag and submerge in hot water for approximately 1 minute while keeping the vape vertical. 

It’s best to store your products in a cool, dark place away from sunlight that is below 70° F. Heat and UV rays are the main causes of cannabinoid degradation. The typical shelf life of our products, excluding bakery items, is 12-24 months.

SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Standard Shipping: Allow up to 7 business days for delivery via US Postal Service.

Vape Shipping: Allow up to 4 business days for delivery. Vape shipping is required by law for orders containing vapes that will be shipped to California, Illinois, or Indiana.

Private Carrier: Allow up to 4 business days for delivery via private carrier (non-USPS).

Beverage Shipping: Allow up to 4 business days for delivery. Beverage shipping is required for any order containing seltzers.

Expedited Shipping: Allow up to 2 business days for delivery. Order must be placed by 1pm Eastern, Monday through Thursday. No weekend deliveries. Cannot ship to PO boxes. May not be available to rural areas.

NOTE: Shipping methods offered will vary based on the products in your cart at time of checkout. Estimated delivery times do NOT include warehouse order fulfillment, which typically takes 1 to 2 business days. All times are estimates, and once an order is in the hands of a carrier, we cannot make guarantees about delivery.

Yes. All orders over $99 are eligible for free standard shipping.

We offer seasonal cold shipping for orders containing edible products as they are not heat resistant. Your edibles are at a higher risk of melting and morphing together during transit if cold shipping is not selected. If that happens, then you won’t know an actual serving size.

Selecting cold shipping does not guarantee your edibles will arrive cold. 

Cold shipping uses the carrier’s expedited shipping method. For orders to be shipped the following day, they must be placed before 1pm EST, Monday through Thursday.

Orders usually take 1-2 business days to be shipped. Our shipping department operates Monday through Friday. We are closed on weekends and most major holidays during which time orders are neither fulfilled nor shipped.

You will get an email with tracking information when your order is ready for the carrier. Once an order is in the hands of a carrier, we cannot make guarantees about delivery times.

Unfortunately, no. Reefer’s Bay supports our military. However, the Department of Defense prohibits active service members from using products containing hemp-derived cannabinoids.

Route Package Protection is for in case your order gets lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. Reefer’s Bay recommends adding Route Package Protection at checkout to all orders. 

If Route package protection isn’t purchased, Reefer’s Bay is NOT liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items. To opt out, use the toggle found above your cart contents on the checkout page. 

If you purchased Route Package Protection and your package was lost, damaged, or stolen, you can file a claim here. Please include the email associated with your order and your order confirmation number to submit your claim.

PURCHASING QUESTIONS

Per the PACT Act, vapor products can only be purchased by customers 21 years of age or older. Reefer’s Bay complies with all state and federal regulations. Age verification is performed by AgeChecker.net and may require photo submission of ID.

Vape products may be subject to a special tax due to the PACT Act’s (Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act of 2009) 2021 amendment to the Jenkins Act. This revises provisions governing the collections of taxes on, and trafficking in, cigarettes and smokeless tobacco. Excise tax for vapor products varies by state, so we recommend checking with your state government to determine the excise tax rate for your state.
